Slow Down

"The secret of life is to wisely conserve your energy and skillfully direct it toward the most efficient outcome.”
 - The Source

When we slow down we can ask ourselves: What drains my energy? What gives me energy? What is my highest priority at this moment?

Sometimes we may feel that certain places, people, conversations, are draining our energy. People can be demanding, certain habits can be distracting, and we might even think we need to cut them out of our lives to make things easier. If you REALLY slow down, there are lessons to be learned by the challenges that life offers you. I encourage you to take a moment to reflect on how challenges have served you up until this point, and also how you evolved facing them.

In the past I felt there were many things that drained my energy, and I realized that I could choose to see it as draining, or I could choose to see it as an opportunity for me to change how I see the challenge. “We are what we see”. When you make an allowance for new ways of seeing within your challenges, you may find that space opens up to ask another question like: Who do I need to BE to embrace the lessons that life offers me?

When we slow down, we open the way for a shift in how we are Being with ourselves and others. Even subtle shifts in the way that we choose to BE can have exponential outcomes and results in our relationships, that ripple into many aspects of our lives.

Blessings,
Genya
