This event is intimate and reserved for five Dad & Son duos.

Creating a primal space for Dads and Sons to connect has been a passion project that I've put on the back burner for a few years.

The seed was planted but I didn't prioritize it until recently, after I had a session with a client and his son. I was lucky to observe the powerful shift in their relationship.

That revitalized the seed to come alive and encouraged me to create and co-facilitate this event with my son, Tim.

Watch the video below for a small glimpse into the Dads & Sons Day Retreat.

This video is a brief glimpse of activities geared toward Dads with teenage Sons.
Younger Sons and older Dads will not be asked nor expected to do the same things.
All of our activities are carefully tailored to the ages and abilities of the Dads and Sons participating.
We want
everyone to have a safe and fun time here!

This will be a special opportunity to PLAY with our sons like boys, CONNECT with our sons like soul brothers, and CELEBRATE by sharing a feast as our ancestors once did.

Our small, intimate group settings allow for interaction without overwhelm, creating the space for hearts to open, feelings to be shared, and new experiences to enlighten us.

"We rarely get one-on-one time with our kids to ask the things we really need to talk about. Being with my son, being in a team of boys, and doing things we don't usually do was an interesting experience I would recommend."

Try it, see if it works for you. It's one more chance to build an extra level of relationship with your son. It's a good chance.

We’ve all noticed missing links in today's society, and one of those links is connection. One of the ways we can regain that feeling of connection is to reconnect with our sons/fathers through shared play, getting lost in a setting that supports men opening up and having heart-to-heart conversations about their challenges and aspirations.

What's very special about this opportunity to connect is recognizing the part of us that is heart-centered. This part of us inherently wants to connect with our Dads/Sons through play and spending time in nature.

Throughout this retreat, together we'll experience playful MovNat natural movement, explore therapeutic hot and cold ceremonies, dive into the power of transformational breathing, spend time in the sacred space of our tipi, and sit around grandfather fire to feast while we hear and share our stories.

"Sharing with other Dads about what it's like to be a Dad today gave me so many insights. We love our moms, girlfriends, sisters, but sometimes it just needs to be the boys."

"My favourite parts were spending quality time with my son, and spending time playing like boys. I loved being in nature, cooking together, and sharing a meal together with other Dads and Sons. I'm looking forward to experiencing it with my son again."

"We learned so much about each other’s strengths and weaknesses, and it felt like we were truly a family."

I recently attended a father-son retreat with my 16 year old son, Dan, and it was one of the most enriching experiences we've ever shared together.

The day was packed with activities that pushed us out of our comfort zones, but more importantly, it created moments for us to connect on a deeper level. We learned so much about each other’s strengths and weaknesses, and it felt like we were truly a family.

The guided discussions helped us communicate openly about our feelings and aspirations, something we hadn't done in a while.

By the end of the day, we felt a renewed sense of closeness and understanding. I highly recommend this retreat to any father wanting to strengthen their bond with their son.

We're looking forward to seeing you and your son, and witnessing the deepening of your relationship as a dad, a son, or maybe both.

We can't wait to see your smiling eyes and open hearts by the end of this event.
